Maryland HQL
Maryland’s Handgun Qualification License (HQL) is required before purchasing a regulated firearm in the state. Covers safe handling, storage, and live fire qualification. Completion satisfies the state training requirement for your HQL application.

Maryland Wear & Carry Permit
Required training for the Maryland Wear & Carry Permit (concealed carry). Covers legal use of force, safe storage, equipment requirements, and live fire qualification. Satisfies the state’s 16-hour training requirement for your CCW application.
Maryland HQL certification available as a $50 add-on at registration.

Intermediate
Building real skills beyond the permit — defensive application, precision, and expanded platforms.
Defensive Handgun 1
Your first step beyond the permit. Drawing from the holster, defensive accuracy, threat assessment, and the fight-stopping shot under stress. Where your carry training begins to actually mean something.
Defensive Handgun 2
Builds on Defensive Handgun 1 — for more complex scenarios, multiple threats, low-light awareness, and stress inoculation drills for reliable performance under realistic pressure.
Defensive Handgun 3
Advanced defensive applications — high-stress performance, complex scenario management, and developing the judgment and skills to function effectively when the stakes are real.
Intermediate Marksmanship 1
Precision-focused work — diagnosing trigger control issues, improving shot placement consistency, and building the accuracy foundation that sharpens every other skill.
Intermediate Marksmanship 2
Extended range marksmanship, practical accuracy standards, and delivering consistent results within realistic time and distance constraints.
Red Dot Fundamentals
Transitioning to or learning from a pistol-mounted red dot. Covers zeroing, index point development, target acquisition, and building speed and accuracy with an optic — one of the highest-leverage investments for defensive carry.
Dry Fire & Proficiency
The most cost-effective skill-building tool available. Structured dry fire curriculum covering draw and presentation, trigger control, and reloads — the repetition that creates real competence.
Practical Performance
Speed and accuracy under pressure — par times, standards-based drills, and measurable progress you can track over time.
Introduction to Rifle
Safe operation, fundamental marksmanship, and the basics of the modern semi-automatic rifle as a defensive and sporting platform. Mechanical function, zeroing, firing positions, and foundational competency.

One-on-one and small group experiences — scheduled by appointment, tailored to you.
Gun Store Buddy
I’ll accompany you to the gun store and take the guesswork out of buying your first firearm — what to look for, what to avoid, how to handle and dry-fire before you commit, and how to budget the full setup, not just the gun.
Range Buddy
Your first range trip can be overwhelming. I’ll walk you through range rules and etiquette, safe handling at the firing line, and help you build the comfort and confidence to attend any class — no judgment, no rushing.
Friends & Family Experience
